For plant, technical and maintenance managers

Know what your machines really do.

Dalovi connects to the controllers already in your production hall and shows output, stops and their causes live, for every machine, in one place.

Why Dalovi

Uses what's already thereUses the data your machines already have. Usually without extra sensors or changes.
Brand-independentMachines from different builders and years, side by side on one overview.
Open to your systemsYour ERP, maintenance system and BI can use the same data.
Dutch, from the shop floorBuilt by service engineers, hosted in Amsterdam, support in your language.
Sound familiar?

The machine knows exactly what happened. You don't.

Numbers from a shift sheetOutput is written down at the end of the shift, rounded, or reset on the panel halfway through. Monday's meeting runs on guesses.
Stops nobody can explainEvery short stop gets fixed and forgotten. Which fault costs the most hours a month? Everyone has an opinion, nobody has the data.
Every machine its own islandDifferent builders, different panels, different screens. There is no single view of how the hall is doing right now.
How it connects

One small gateway per machine. As little change to the machine as possible.

A Dalovi Edge gateway sits next to each machine. It reads from the machine network, and sends out over your WiFi. It is the only link between the two.

01 · YOUR MACHINE
Controller + operator panel

Counters, machine states and alarms already live in the PLC and HMI. Dalovi uses what is there.

02 · DALOVI EDGE
Reads, buffers, forwards

Reads the machine every minute. Keeps weeks of data if the connection drops and sends it later, nothing lost.

03 · DALOVI PLATFORM
Stores, analyses, shows

Encrypted, outgoing-only connection to our servers in Amsterdam. Stores the history and calculates OEE, downtime and reliability.

04 · YOUR TEAM
Dashboards and your systems

Live dashboards in the browser and mobile app, alerts, and an open API so your ERP, maintenance system, MES or BI can use the data.

How a project works

Connect a machine type once. Grow machine by machine.

Every machine type speaks its own language. In the integration project we learn it: which counters, states and alarms matter, and where they live. From then on, growing is simple. A new machine next year? We prepare a Dalovi Edge for it, ready to plug in, and it joins your plant overview the day it arrives.

And we stay on board: updates, new dashboards and support for every connected machine.

STEP 1Machine checkWe look at your controller, panel and network together, and agree what you want to measure.
STEP 2Integration projectWe map the counters, states and alarms of that machine type and test them on one machine.
STEP 3Roll-outOne gateway per machine: mount it, one network cable, connect to your WiFi, power on.
STEP 4Insight and reviewLive dashboards from day one, and a review with your team once there is a few weeks of history.

What a stop costs

Every minute a machine stands still has a price

The numbers differ for every line, so here is one real example: a bagging machine that needs to make about 600 bags an hour. Every minute it stops, 10 bags are not made, and the next step in the line waits too. Each bag not made is about €1 of lost revenue.

Machine stopped1 min
Bags not made, next step waits10
Revenue lost€10
What winning back stop time is worth
Stop time won back per machine, per day
Number of machines
Extra bags per year60.000
Extra revenue per year€60.000
Example: 600 bags per hour, €1 per bag, 6 days a week, 50 weeks a year (300 production days). Your own numbers will differ; we work them out with you.

You can't win back minutes you can't see. Dalovi shows exactly which stops cost the most, so you know where to start.

From the first week on a real line
The panel said 384.
The machine made 799.

At the end of the shift, the operator panel showed 384 parts. That's the number that went into the report.

The machine had made 799. Halfway through the shift the day counter had been reset, and the morning's 415 parts were gone from the screen, and from the report.

Dalovi reads the machine every minute and keeps its own count, so it caught the reset. 799 = 415 + 384, exact to the piece.

Who we are

Born from years on the shop floor

Dalovi is built by M&F Tech Services. Since 2017 we troubleshoot, maintain, optimise and commission production equipment in food, pharma, chemical and process plants, after five years working inside the process industry ourselves. On every site we saw the same gap: machines full of valuable data, and plants still steering on shift sheets and gut feeling.

The options were either too big, a full MES project, or too closed, one machine builder's own portal. So we built the piece that was missing: Dalovi.

Security and data

Built so your IT department can say yes

Connecting production machines is a security question first. Dalovi keeps the machine network closed, opens nothing on your side, and keeps your data in the Netherlands. And it measures machines, not people.

Read-only on the machineThe gateway only reads. It never writes to the controller, never changes a setting and never loads a program.
Machine network stays closedThe controller and panel get no internet access. The gateway does not route between the machine side and the WiFi side.
On your OT or guest WiFiWe connect to a separate OT or internet-only WiFi network, never to your office network. No suitable WiFi? An optional LTE (4G) connection keeps the gateway completely off your network.
Outgoing, encrypted onlyThe gateway calls out over an encrypted (TLS) connection. No open ports, no port forwarding, no VPN, no remote access into your plant.
Hosted in AmsterdamYour data is stored on servers in Amsterdam, under Dutch and EU law (GDPR). You own it and can export all of it at any time.
An identity per gatewayEach gateway has its own credentials. One can be blocked on the platform without affecting the rest.
For your IT and security teamA one-page security sheet with the network diagram, ports, data flows and hosting details. Helps with your NIS2 and supplier assessments.

Integration

Your systems can use the data too

Dashboards are the start, not the end. Your existing management tools can connect to Dalovi and use the collected machine data, so planning, maintenance and finance work from what the machines actually did.

ERPActual output, not retypedGood and rejected quantities per shift, ready for your ERP to pick up.
MAINTENANCE / CMMSMaintenance on real usageReal run hours, cycles and alarms, so your maintenance system can plan on actual use instead of the calendar.
MES / PLANNINGLive status and real speedPlan with the rate a machine really runs at, and know immediately when it stops.
BI / DATA PLATFORMOEE and downtime historyClean, timestamped machine data next to your other business data, in Power BI or your data warehouse.
Open REST APIEvery value with its timestamp, per machine. Your systems ask for what they need, when they need it.
Access you controlEach connecting system gets its own account with access to your machines only. Revoke it any time.
Your IT team or software supplier makes the connection; we provide the access and documentation, and can help as part of your project. Built on an open-source core (ThingsBoard CE), so your data is never locked in.

Brand-independent, old or new

If your machine shares data over the network, we can usually connect it. Every new machine type starts with a short check, so you know what is possible before you commit.

Questions we get

Do you change anything on my machine?Usually not. Dalovi prefers to read values the controller and panel already hold. If a small change is needed, for example to make a counter available, we agree it upfront in the machine check, with the machine builder where needed.
What do you need from our IT department?Access to an OT or internet-only WiFi network for the gateways, or nothing at all if you choose the optional LTE connection. No open ports, no VPN, no access to your office network.
Can our ERP or maintenance system use the data?Yes. Your systems connect to Dalovi through the open REST API and use output, run hours, states and alarms in your existing tools. We provide access and documentation, and can help set it up.
Our machines are all different brands. Is that a problem? No, that is exactly the point. Each machine type is one integration project; after that they all appear side by side on the same plant overview.
Where is my data, and who owns it?On our servers in Amsterdam. You own your data and can export all of it at any time, through the API or as files.
What if the WiFi goes down? The gateway keeps reading and buffers weeks of data. When the connection is back, everything is sent with its original timestamps. No gaps.
Does Dalovi track our operators? No. Dalovi measures machines, not people: no operator names and no individual performance figures. That makes it easier to agree with your works council.
How fast do we see results?Live data appears minutes after a gateway is powered on. The real insight, which stops cost you the most, comes after a few weeks of history.
